A postcard commemorating the Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905) published by the Japanese Army Department of Gifts to Soldiers. The characters to the upper-right read (right-to-left) sekisei ("with all one's heart"). Text in the bottom-right corner translates, "made to send to the soldiers on the Russo-Japanese War front in 1904."
