A panoramic view of the Bund in Shanghai, China. This photo was taken after the area was rocked by an explosion. Most of the buildings along the Bund are foreign-owned and look out upon the Wangpoo River.  One can see the the fighting craft of different nations in the river, among them Japanese vessels. August 16, 1937.
