Asakusa Park After 1923 Earthquake

10/4/1923 - Tokyo. Asakusa Park, playground of the Japanese for generations (shown after Kanto earthquake of 1923). The tower in the background was originally 12 stories high and was built so that Japanese for a few pennies might climb it, and there have a view of the great capital of yedo, or Tokyo, as it came to be known.
