Kabocha Japanese Pumpkins
Pictured here are kabocha, or Japanese pumpkins. As can be seen, they differ a great deal from the pumpkins Americans put out for Halloween. They are a very nutritious vegetable used in numerous Japanese dishes, including soups but also eaten on their own. These kabocha were grown in Fukushima. They did not have noticeable levels of radiation.
