No Smoking Sign 2

This sign, created by the Japan Tobacco Inc, is part of a campaign to promote good smoking manners.  One aspect of their Corporate Social Responsibility program is to promote "accomodation between smokers and non-smokers."  The Japanese on the bottom of the sign can be translated as:  "If you notice, your manners will change."

The sign (and campaign) can provide a useful take off point for a discussion about corporate social responsibility, anti-smoking campaigns, or the impact of smoking on others, from a comparative perspective.  Some possible questions
